| The magnetic orientation (anisotropy) is given by the mechanical action of the lamination process on the disk-shaped single crystal of strontiumferrite. This material comes in sheets and the size available are the following: - thickness: from 1.0 to 8 mm. - max width: 400/450 mm. - length: from 1 m. to 2.5 m. depending on thickness. The easy-to-magnetize axis is perpendicular to thickness (direction of anisotropy). Sheets can be cut into strips, parallelepipeds, rings, small disk or die cut into any shape. The binder used is highly weather and aging resistant; however, as of resistance to chemicals (grasses, solvents, etc.) we recommend that you test the magnets under actual conditions of use. Thanks to the quality of the materials used, plastoferrite FLEXO 150 - 180 magnets are non-toxic and are compliant with the EN71/3 European standard dealing with the release of heavy metals. The material is stabilized at a temperature of over 70° so as avoid possible changes in size as a function of variation in temperature. Our products at high temperature use are as following: - up to 100°C under continuos-duty conditions; - up to 120°C for short periods so as to avoid loss of flexibility. The %/°C temperature coefficient of 0,2 is reversible as temperature changes, or, more precisely, the magnetic force decreases by 2% every 10 degrees while recovering its original characteristic when the initial temperature is restored. |
